Differences in lifting platforms that you should pay attention to
While most two-post lifts are designed for vehicle weights of 3,000 to 4,000 kg (the C-5S-XL goes up to 5,000 kg), they differ not only in their drive system (mechanical or hydraulic height adjustment) but also in other details. For example, some lifts operate on 230 volts, while others require 400-volt three-phase power. Therefore, the buyer should be aware of the electrical system used in the workshop where the lift will be installed. The lifting arms can be single or double extendable, which increases the number of support points on the vehicle and makes the vehicle length less of a concern. An asymmetrical positioning of the lifting arms further contributes to this. The angles of the arms relative to the support column on one side are freely adjustable, rather than swinging out symmetrically. Deadman's controls are standard, meaning that releasing an up or down button immediately stops the platform.
