The Speedframe Pro Defy helmet was developed with input from our professional mountain bike athletes and earned Virginia Tech's highest rating (5 stars) in their Bicycle Helmet Ratings program. This premium open-face mountain bike helmet offers a range of market-leading features to keep you protected on every trail ride. At the top of the list is the MIPS® Air Node protection system, a low-friction layer for fully ventilated, lightweight helmets that reduces rotational forces and, in the event of a crash, diverts impact forces away from the brain. Dual-density Varizorb™ EPS further enhances impact protection by distributing impact forces over a wider area. The BOA® Fit System allows for micro-adjustments for a perfect fit on every ride. The Ionic+® liner is antimicrobial, odor-resistant, and wicks moisture away from the head. It's also easily removable and washable. The one-hand adjustable visor is compatible with both sunglasses and goggles. Furthermore, the helmet features a dedicated storage solution for sunglasses.
