The completely new design of these boots draws inspiration from the design and performance of Fox's Instinct boots, but with its own unique performance mindset, making them tailor-made for advanced riders seeking performance boots that can handle a wide range of situations as you push your skills to the limit.

Grip and Control
: Constructed with Duratac™ rubber compound on the outsole and burn guard, Motion Boots offer reliable grip without sacrificing durability. This rubber compound, offered exclusively by Fox, provides the perfect balance of grip and durability in a race-ready boot. The slim and low-profile medial (inside) design of each boot increases the surface area to ensure close contact with the bike, further enhancing grip and connection.

Fit and Comfort:
With half sizes available in the most common sizes (9.5, 10.5, and 11.5), the Motion Boots offer improved comfort and a more precise fit. Best of all, the Motion Boot's size range (5 to 14) means this all-new boot is race-ready for kids, and in that vein, sizes 5-7 have a shorter shaft height to accommodate shorter legs. The focus is on the new and improved last—the foot-shaped form that determines how the boot fits the foot—ensuring a comfortable entry right from the start. This last is used across all boots in our line, ensuring a consistent size and fit. If you wear a size 9 Motion, that's your size for the enTire "reboot" range: Instinct, Motion, and Comp. Riders can now enjoy a consistent, true-to-size fit—simply order your normal shoe size and you're good to go.

Protection:
In terms of protection, Motion Boots incorporate TPU, a hard plastic material, in strategic locations to provide reliable coverage where you need it most. After the Instinct, these boots offer the second-highest level of protection with TPU at the ankle, calf guard, shin plate, and toe cap. The patented hinge lockout system around the ankle also stops movement from hyperextension to help prevent injuries.

Secure closures
The completely redesigned Motion Boots also feature an updated buckle and closure system. This 4-buckle design incorporates new, patented forged metal buckles. This system provides a durable, secure closure for a precise fit and includes extended levers for easy opening and closing. The new ball-joint mechanism ensures that your mobility is not restricted by this system, as the boots flex and compress while riding. This buckle and closure system is the same across all Fox boots, but the Motion Boots are equipped with forged metal buckles for increased durability.

Mobility & Support:
When it comes to race-ready performance you can rely on, mobility and support go hand in hand: The hinge system in these boots delivers both. This system allows for more controlled forward and backward movement for zero break-in with zero break-down, while lateral support around the ankle reduces side-to-side movement as you ride. The sole is engineered to be strategically stiff where it's needed most, further optimizing feel, support, and agility. Combine this strategic stiffness with the mid-height comfort liner, and you have a pair of race-ready boots that perfectly balance mobility, comfort, and support.
